I'm not a big fan of him but I watched him everytime he fought. He was great to watch and his fights were always great. I'll be sure to watch the next one, to see if he still has his pop after the scandal. It's not that I believe he didn't cheat but I will give him the benefit of the doubt, also, I would love for him to be back in the mix just for how much he added to the welterweight division. :happy

yea but in one case you are endangering the health and safety of your opponent, while in the other case you're not. So for me it makes a difference. Its not just about the rules.

For the same reasons other "alleged cheaters" (ie. Mosley, Trinidad, Jones jr., Toney, etc) still have fans.

Margo had a fan-friendly style and the die-hard fans are willing to forgive a little.

I personally can't wait till he gets back to see how he handles all this!

Whether he has fans is one thing.

What is definite is that he has HAD his 15 minutes of fame.

What a great way to screw it up with plaster.

I remember Nazim Richardson's account. He said he thought the pad was too hard and the guy from the California Athletic Commission feeling it and disagreeing at first. So how hard was this thing and how much of an impact would it have made in the fight? The evidence even according to Nazim was that it was not rock hard like people keep making it out to be.

So, he had hardened wraps with elements of plaster, that are not suppose to be there.

So instead of making his wraps rock hard, they were just hard. And thats okay to you.

I don't believe he did dirt in every single one of his fights. No proof on the Cotto fight either. But once is too many times. I think he's done cuz of the scandal. If he comes back I'd watch his fights, but I won't support the guy anymore. He lost a ton of respect over this ****.

Expected to see a few ******s trying to bring up the plaster discussion like Margarito was "screwed". Get over it already idiots the fraud is banned for a reason.

Guys like Freddy "KFC" Lokz should get hooked from their asses and shoved into the gutters of the world for backing up this scum.

And it's no coincidence that the most indignation, before any evidence had even surfaced, came from PBF, Cotto and Williams fans!:deal

Williams fans don't even need to bother as Margarito got his ass handed to him and was publicly ducking a rematch and career high payday only to be caught cheating fighting past prime fighters half his size.

How about simply being a true fan of the sport, before a particular fighter?

Margarito deserved to lose his fan base for what he did. He committed pretty much the worst act a boxer can do, the worst since Luis Resto (you can argue James Butler if you'd like). Even the biting of Mike Tyson and Andrew Golota weren't as disgraceful as what the Plastered ******* did.

    I have no idea.

Antonio Margarito is a known cheater who was in it to injure and seriously maim if not kill his opponents. It is a terrible sin against Boxing.
