JMM was able to nullify Pac's speed with his boxing abilities. Pac looked confused at times in the 2nd fight against Juan. He doesn't have a plan B.
How awesome is David Diaz in that vid. How can you not like a guy like that? He went out on his shield and gave Pacquiao his props and joking about the way he was dominated.
"I thought he had a knife" and "I thought Freddie Roach was hitting me". I'll be honest, I didn't even see the first knockdown with that right hook. Maybe it was just a bad angle but I just remember Hatton falling on the ground. I saw the 2nd knockdown. that was easy to spot. The big knockout was also very fast. They were both centered in the ring. In real time, Hatton was just laying on the ground. It was like one of them MC Hammer Cartoons with the choppy animation. I would like to see him with a guy with similar speed...Juan Ma Lopez, Gamboa in a sparring match?:smoke
David Diaz is a comedian. He called Pac on the cell after the hatton fight and said thats hes glad they have a new posterboy for a KO instead of him Apparently these two are tight
Probably, he's always anticipating the "right hook, roll over, right hook, roll over, right hook, roll over.... always the same."
He is that fast. You can't forget Morales, Barrera, and Marquez. Oscar was able to deflect most of Mayweather's punches.
Pack is so fast that every spectator right at the side of the ring would get confused of which is his left and which is the right..
Even though the most recent opponents haven't been that fast, so it's partially a combo, Pac Man is really that fast. What makes Pac Man so dangerous is his movement. I'm not saying he's invincible as seen in previous fights, but he's gotten a lot better. From a skill aspect he keeps up constant motion and lands quick, heavy, well timed, unorthodox angles, and surprising punches. It's hard to see where they are coming from and it's not one or two punches, it's several. From a physical aspect he's very strong overall, but mostly in the legs, quick, and lot's of endurance to keep up the motion, pace, and punches all fight long. I often picture how I would fight or train a fighter to beat other boxers, but I'd say Pac Man has one of the most dificult styles to defeat because eventually every fighter he fights is going to get hit. Right now I'm not thinking about how Pac can be beat, because he can, but with his recent fights he has really impressed me. Just shows how much more of a complete fighter you must be in the lighter divisions that he's making people in the bigger divisions look like chumps. When people analyze Pac Man's style and what he's done, despite some holes in the resume, it's still really amazing.
