Tszyu vs ben tackie calzaghe vs lacy I wouldn't say calzaghe schooled hopkins, but i think he showed great skills in a easy to call victory for calzaghe
Yeah no one ever talks about Jones Toney..That was by far the worst schooling in resent history, the P4P king barely won a round vs an upstart champ from the preceding weight.
Calzaghe vs Lacy was great B-hop vs Tito was great B-hop vs Pavlik was great Floyd vs Gatti was great Winky vs Tito was great
RJJ-Toney is probably one of the most underrated schoolings in recent memory. An absolute brilliant performance by Jones schooling at that time the #2 P4P fighter in the world like it was nothing. The only one I would rank above it was PBF's performance against Chico a beautiful exhibition of boxing
I'm pretty sure you grasp the obvious mischievous reasoning behind including that particular fight in the list of suggestions.
almost every Roy jones fight until he was 35... the guy was a complete virtuoso....against quality opposition. i mean Reggie johnson was a class fighter(beat Steve collins) didnt jones go one round and not even get hit? he set some compu box record. Unexpected schoolings. Calzaghe Lacy (probaly not that great a performance when you consisder how bad LAcy is) Hopkins- Pavlik Mayweather- Gatti Mayweather at Super feather vs anyone was going to put Hamed Barrera- but 115-113 isnt a schooling.
Can i ask what skills joe showed? it was a mismatch for 6 rs in Hopkins favour...unfortuantely its hard to maintain that when your 43. Joes only skill in that fight was his Steven Segal impression!
In your opening post in a recent thread you started you state it was not a schooling. What gives? http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=140350 Here is what you wrote: Calzage deserves a lot of credit It's true that his career was mis-managed, his resume is contextually feeble, and his current lofty status is something of a sham. And even though I scored the fight in favour of B-Hop, I do genuinely believe that Calzaghe deserves a lot of credit for his perfomance in that fight. Hopkins' style was good enough to school Tarver, Tito, Pavlik and Winky. And it was the same style that Calzaghe encountered. Calzaghe worked hard and adapted very well. This content is protected , in fact he got the decision against an absolutely elite opponent and for that he deserves praise. Well done to Joe Calzaghe.
