I don't think so. Had Cotto faced a prime Tito or Oscar he'd be ko'd

You cannot give away rounds put in the bank. It's a game based on points. You can have you're fight robbed from you but you can't give it away unless it's by points.

Cotto is surely the better overall boxer and would show his class in this fight but he would eventually get caught with something huge and lose by tko 2rnds after the intial monster counter Tito would land. If cotto somehow learns to tie up properly I might change my mind. Tito was quite the animal at 147 and 154 though I feel his fight with hoya was questionable it was amusing watching Oscar dancing like a school girl while Tito was attempting to chase him down snarling and foaming at the mouth. Tito never knew the meaning of retreat that dude just kept on coming even if he was getting schooled he was one persistant son of a *****. Tito vs Margo would have been brutal!

I dont see how Cotto could win this one, he's a slightly better boxer but tito had him in everything.

My 2 favorite Puerto Ricans going at it........................:think

Slight edge goes to Tito. Cotto seems to be really underrated in this fight.

Lesser fighters than Cotto were able to connect and stun Tito. Cotto is the more skilled fighter and would have plenty of chances to connect.

Cotto hit Margarito with some decent bombs and the only reason Marge didn't go down was due to his chin which was a lot better than Titos. Wonder how Tito would have handled those.

But again, in the end it would proably end up Tito by late TKO!

My POINT was that Oscar took it for granted, something you'd think someone who grew up around boxing wouldn't do.

Tito would be a terrible matcup for Cotto. I think Tito could stop him in 4 or 5.
