I like Marty and he had it to win at the end but I am pleased for Sexton.....as for the booing pricks you get in audiences these days **** off and achieve something in your own lives!!
Sexton gets 0 credit for that win, not his fault but the guy clearly was not the better man and he wouldn't have lasted another round whereas Rogan had plenty left even with the damaged eye. Sexton was ****ed, that's why he got hurt in both of the last rounds and his punches had no power on them anymore.
Bad night all round for Rogan, He got outboxed, the ref was a ****ing disgrace, the Eye was terrible and even when Rogan had Sexton in trouble he didn't finish him off, I'm Gutted for him, props to Sexton new Commonwealth Champion.
0 credit? You're an idiot... he boxed his ears off for most of the fight. Agreed that the finish was unsatidfactory but give Sexton credit for going to Belfast and busting Rogan up for 6 rounds or so... It's not Sexton's fault that Parris was in the ring.

I don't even think Sexton did box that well. Rogan's a 38-year-old smaller guy. Sexton just fiddled his way to winning the earlier rounds (albeit boxing well in one or two) and then lost his stamina, got hurt badly and luckily damaged Rogan's eye, then got battered in the last round and got gifted the fight by ****-poor biased refereeing. I'm not sure Sexton could even have lasted those last 20 seconds of the round. I'm English by the way.
Take some deep breaths James, they won't boo you forever. If you pay your money you can express emotion at the fights it's part of the game, or would you prefer German spectators?
A little respect for the athletes wouldn't go amiss no. If the opponent was a complete trash talker and derogative then yes...booing is deserved.
