Foremost consideration is money generated in high profile fights. Mosley is not a crowd drawer but Floyd is. Floyd deserves a crack on Pac because he is the former #1 P4P. He's also a big draw like Pac. I'd rather that Mosley rematch w/ Cotto to settle an unfinished business.

Link on that particular quote, please. I doubt Roach would say that considering the catchweight was at 147?

mosley has been known to come in as much as 160 for a fight @147. pac weighed 148 during his last fight w/ hatton. mosley has to agree to fight at a catchweight (maybe 143) so as to somewhat compensate for his very big advantage in size/weight. this is the fair thing to do.

zab judah? he was supposed to fight joan guzman but to nobody's surprise, guzman begged off from this fight. judah is now supposed to fight hatton (matt) in the undercard of pbf-jmm on july 18. looks like rick's younger bro has more balls than guzrun.

in terms of best matchups the paquiao wont get lit up in shane is 4th, shane is clearly the second best matchup for die hard boxing fans and the mainstream public right behind floyd but imo shane is the one guy that pac doesnt stand a chance against, its obvious pac will get a slap on the wrist for avoiding shane

It depends - if Pac never fights at 147 again, I have no problem with him staying away - it simply means he didn't feel comfortable at the weight, which is understandable.

If he does fight at 147 again, but fights a lesser opponent, he deserves to be criticised.

It trips me out all the people making excuses for Pac not to fight Shane at 147. Last time I checked Shane was fighting at 154 just like Oscar was before he fought Margarito, but the *******s don't want to admit that Shane dropped down to fight a real WW champ and knocked his ass out, now he is a true 147 fighter and its not fair for Pac to fight him. What they really mean is he can healthy make 147 so there is no way in hell Pac will fight him.

I just want to see Pac fight a well schooled black fighter...no offense Pac and PAc fans. Shane, Bradley, Floyd, Campbell, Guzman, Berto...fight one of them Pac.

Good post. Roach and Arum may still think they can out hustle a Shane who is getting older by the day.

Nallege if Pac beats Mosley, won't you just say he didn't fight a well schooled black fighter in his prime
