what if.. David Haye vs Tomasz Adamek?

After hayes fights wlad, i got to say adamek wins by UD or late tko,,,wlad is going break hayes as a fighter,,,
but if hayes were not to fight wlad first, i see hayes getting KO over a over-rated adamek, would be a easy fight

Haye is way way way too powerful for Adamek, he's a monster at 200lbs. If Chad Dawson, who is currently 50lbs less than Haye, can do it, then Haye can.

 

Well, even though I think Adamek is the better fighter of the two I say Haye by KO and that's because of Haye's huge power especially right hand and we know Adamek isn't very good at avoiding/blocking straight right hands (see Cunningham, Briggs, Banks fights).

 

Haye is faster and hits harder.

VERY hard fight to predict. Haye has serious balance and defense issues but has crazy power and the size, speed advantage. CW suits Adamek better than 175, he's not that easy to hit anymore, has serious one punch power of his own, and has much better balance and stamina than Haye.

It's the kind of fight that both fighters can win, I'd say anything from 5 apiece to 6-7 out of 10 for Haye, but you don't want to underestimate Adamek. He's no MaKOrinelli or Slowrmeck, and these are the best CWs Haye beat.

 

Mormeck was imo. clearly better than Adamek.

Adamek doesn't seem as slow at CW as he did at LHW, but he is still markedly slower than Haye.

 

Haye by TKO/ wide decision.

I am Adamek fan, and I am from Poland, but Adamek defence is mostly his chin, and that wouldn't be enough against Haye. Although with Haye's chin and Adamek relentless style the upset is also quite possible.

 

On the other hand I'm not sure about Haye's speed advantage against Adamek. Haye never fought anyone as fast as Adamek at CW. No doubt Haye looked fast against Barett, Bonin, Fragomeni or Mormeck but these guys were rather slow compared to Adamek. Remember, Adamek beat Cunningham and didn't look that much slower than him.

This thread shows again, how overrated Haye is. ****, Adamek is the more skilled and variable man with a KO-power punch and a hell of a chin. I´m going definitely with Adamek in this one.

 

Maybe Haye is more powerful, maybe not (his KO percentage shows that he may be). But Chad wouldnt last now a full 12 rounds against Adamek at 200lb. Chad was better at 175, no doubt, he proved it. But at 200 nobody can equal to Adamek.

The one is clear Adamek and Haye are/were the best CW since Jirov (or maybe they are even better).
