At least Shane's trying to get some publicity with the callouts, and publicity can equal big fights if done correctly.
Yes but slim. Mosley had his opportunity but refused a rematch anywhere other than somewhere on the west coast. Cotto's team, who already holds a win over Mosley, insisted on fighting on the east coast; most likely at MSG once again. In retrospect Mosley should have conceded the location because now he's stuck in limbo with limited options and almost certainly won't be getting a big fight anytime soon. Even if Cotto defeats Clottey there's no guarantee that he looks in Mosley's direction.
You may well be right, but it'd be a damn shame if that's how it plays out. In Shane's case, there's still a chance for a Cotto rematch or a fight with Paul Williams, which makes sense on damn near every level but doesn't have the payday attached to it other fights would, and Hopkins had his choice between Adamek and Dawson, but might wind up fighting a Trinidad rematch or nothing.
Ahh, Williams is fighting at middleweight now. He's probably walking around at 190 pounds or more. He's probably thinking that if he boils down and drains himself SHANE MIGHT BEAT THE EVER LOVING **** OUT OF HIM. So I don't think Shanes ducking anyone.
"I dont think Mayweather will take the fight with him. I think Shane can beat Mayweather. They are both fast but Mosely has more power. The only real guys out there for him are me and Manny Pacquiao I see him picking Manny over me. Fighting me is a suicide mission," Williams said. This was after the Margarito fight... And Shane said he has no intention on fighting Pwill.
Maybe he is cherry-picking for once in his career. He doesn't have much longer to fight, he's already old as **** by boxing standards.
