    Frank Bruno's following was comparable to Hatton's IMO.

    25k Brits were in Vegas, but a lot of those are from local ex-pat communities.... whatever Sky Sports say about boxing, Ricky Hatton and Amir Khan in particular.... just ignore it.

    Come on now, it's not possible to tell. There were so many super popular fighters, take Germany for example: Schmeling back in the day, Michalczewski, Maske, the Klitschkos in the last 20 years etc, and many countries/regions have/had it's super popular fighters, like Freitas is Brasil (population: M200), John in Indonesia (M250) etc.


    BTW, are you ready for this, probably Zou Shiming is the most popular boxer today and possibly ever, having a country of 1.3 billion behind him, and he's VERY popular China.
