Prime Tyson would rule with an iron fist today, even vs prime Vitali, if he couldnt KO/TKO him, he would outpoint him, just too fast & skillfull.

this fight could go ether way..but i think vitali would slowly but surely beat him down..the way he does to everyone.. i think mike would pay to steep a price to get inside on vitali.,vitali tko rd..9-10,,

I love Wlad but I'm afraid Tyson would probably deconstruct him and scramble his insides. Vitali would probably give him a good fight.

A prime Tyson beats just about any Heavyweight out there, I see Vitali giving him problems but Tyson would still win.

I was around when Tyson turned pro. In his prime, the klitchkos wouldn't see the final bell.

Todays Vitali would have no chance, he is a far cry from his physical prime (around when he fought Hide). He may make it interesting for a couple of rounds, but he simply is not mobile enough to deny Tysons advantages, nor is his punching power more than a mere half of what it was pre-shoulder-surgery. He relies on accumulation today, and that won't work with that version of Tyson.

I can't believe what I am reading here.
Do any of you actually remember Mike Tyson in his prime??
He would ****ing destroy any of todays heavies.
Todays heavyweight division is a bad joke.

**** I'd even fancy Bruno's chances against the Klits.

Prime Tyson was a monster, not just for his offense (speed and incredible power) but also for his great defense and head movement. I honestly don't think any HW today could win against him. Baddest Man on the Planet indeed!

Those not around at his peak might wish to read the Teddy Atlas book.."from the street to the ring"...it gives an account of Tyson growing into the awesome power he was to become.
He should have stuck with Kevin Rooney

The Tyson that lost to McBride could beat Vitali.
