Do you honestly see Dawson being a p4p best in the near future?

I think he'll be a top 5 guy. His lack of both ko power and good competition will hold him back, though, and may keep him from the final push to the very top, but he's an excellent fighter. Too bad Hop won't fight him, but he's turning around and doing the same thing to Johnson. It's the way the game goes, I guess.

P4P is not about pop, it's not about dominating, it's not about chin . . . it's matter of beating rated named opponents irregardless of the odds.

If he keeps winning . . . then he has a chance. :yep

There are no fights for him right now that would legitimate his ranking in the p4p, and he does not seem to be keen on taking the best available fight now.

Will Dawson get up enough never to fight Johnson?

I think it is actually more on beating the best available fighters, and beating them.

And I don't really see him beating Kessler for one.

It is one of the reasons he won't be ranked as P4P best. Top 5 perhaps, but numero uno? I highly doubt it.

So, you think he can be a future numero uno P4P? Base on his skills and his potential?

I can see his limitations right now, and think these are the reasons why he won't be be considered the best in the future.

What if Johnson finishes knocking him out?

That would make people realize his limitation, and would put a halting screech on his nice career. Heck, it might put an end to his boxing career.:yep
