Damned that's impressive, I did 14.20 today (first time I've run in about 6 weeks) and was quite happy with that... I'm gonna go eat humble pie now! :D

i could do 2 miles comfortably in 12 mins when i was 46 years old.
anybody who boxes and is fit should find 7 minute miles easy at such a short distance.

No need to be humble, just push yourself a little harder and you will soon be running 6 minute miles.

I don't know precisely but today we had a running test. It was non stop running for 12 minutes exactly and I got 2700 meters which I have to no clue how much it is in miles.

hmmmm, it's 6:39am and I'm gonna do some maths :p

1600 metres is a mile so you ran 1.687 miles... about the same pace as me :p

If you wanted to see how long 2 miles would have taken you:

    2700 / 12 = 225 per minute
    1600 / 2.55 = 7.11
    7.11 * 2 = 14.22 minutes (14 minutes 13 seconds)

This is how you work out how far you'd have ran in 14 minutes 20... I think :p

    2700 / 1600 = 1.675.

    2700 / 12 = 225 per minute
    225 * 2.33 = 524.25 metres

    2700 + 524.25 metres = 3224.25 in 14 minutes 20 seconds
    3224.25 / 1600 = 2.015
