Man Noriega is SO scared. They stopped the fight. I feel for him.

 

Yeah, just got stopped. I think Noriega's refusal to engage allowed him to last this long.

Tough fight to really gauge. He was so much better than Noriega so it's hard to take this at anything other than face value.

 

I think that little chicken dance caused the fight to get stopped.

We understand that, but they can get Rigo a higher level of fodder. He's the real deal, the suckiness of Noriega actually made Rigo look worse.

 

Certainly. That said you can at least get high class fodder for the guy. For a guy whose behind the 8 ball age wise (28), It would be wise to have had a better opponent for Rigondeaux. He really didn't learn anything or do anything really.

I understand the idea and the message behind it but still...coulda got somebody!

 

Likewise which somewhat spoiled things. He was forced to do something he's not really accustomed to which was forcing the fight.

to be honest i was also full with expectations about rigondeaux.
and not to be harsh or anything, but he didn't impressed me at all.
he's no longer the same as before, his punches were stronger before, and was way quicker.

i was expecting him to finish this kid in 1 round, and wtf is up with that fake left hand he keeps throwing? :blood

I was more impressed with Lara.

 

Let me know when rigondeaux fights a live opponent, I will be waiting. Hopefully not long.

 

Rigo looked that way before. I didn't expect much different and it wasn't.
