    no competition

    Hatton's punch resistance = gone

Clottey's punch resistance = off the chart

It would be a HUGE achievement that won't get nearly as much respect as it deserves, as Clottey has very little mainstream recognition. He is a tough sonofabitch and this is going to be a rough-ass fight.

Well don't shocked if it happens. He definetly has the skills and ability to beat Clottey but a knockout would be bigger than any knockout in a long while because it's never been done before and Clottey is a defensive fighter on top of that.

Man if Cotto can KO Josh Clottey... Talk about hard to get a fight! Nobody will want to see Cotto but Paul Williams! Clottey is 1/4 granite on his mother's side.

Honestly I don't see Cotto getting past Clottey.

You don't know that. Nobody thought Mosley would KO marg. So don't say it can't happen.

And Marg. doesn't hit harder than Cotto. He has better chin but he doesn't pack a bigger punch.

I never said he would stop him. All I said is you can't never say that it can't happen, boxing is the theatre of the unexpected. It's not likely but it definetly can happen.

If Clottey is going down it won't be through his chin. Even than I don't think Cotto lands anything destructive to the body as Clottey's defense is pretty stout. That being said I think Cotto wins by UD.

Can't see Cotto knocking out Clottey and for there to be any chance it would have to be accumulation ala Mosely v Marg. With Clottey's defence I just can't see that - the big question for me in this fight is how much will Cotto be prepared to commit offensively after Marg defeat. Clottey may no be a real one-shot merchant but he does seem pretty heavy handed.
