Bojado got beat by Leija, then got beat by I think Forbes. Then he faded into oblivion. He definitely was a case of too much too soon. He was heralded as the next big thing before he had proven himself in the professional ranks, got lazy and got beat enough to get knocked off track.


Seriously, I can remember back when Bojado and Cotto had less than 10 wins, people were ALREADY salivating at the thought of them fighting one day. A bunch of people even said "Cotto wasn't ready." But Miguel was brought up the right way, stay determined and hungry, and made his mark as a marquee fighter. Bojado is left as a question mark people wonder about from time to time, then forget about again.


Bojado had genuine talent, but he was told he was the next golden boy enough times to start believing it, and lost that hunger and drive to be great.
