Yea Kenny and most other sportscasters have been talking May Pac hard to get that out of their mind you're right.

The truth is from their numbers the only difference you see is the Hoya fight. Right or wrong?

It was marketed brilliantly as the fight of the century the biggest fight in 25 years a can't miss fight.

Yes hoya and Floyd sold the hell outta the fight. Can't deny the facts.

Another thing some guys fail to realize is that featherweight and below almost never get recognized out aside from true fans.
Which is why little guys try and move up and compete because everyone knows bigger guys usually get bigger purses. While Barrera ,Marquez , and Morales are great ask a neighbor who doesn't watch boxing the differences between Zab and Erik or Barrera and Gatti. I'm sure most people have heard more about Gatti and Zab.

Everything has to be put into perspective. Floyd may be a slightly larger draw in the US but without questions PAC is a larger draw world wide. His PPV #'s were outstanding but again....keep it in perspective. DLH and HAtton were the main reasons for the HUGE numbers that Floyd put up with fighting these two guys. Floyd is a great business man and it shows not only with the fights he makes but how he goes about making them. Timing is key and Floyd inside and out of the ring...his timing is on point. PAC did very well considering the landscape of the global economy. 850K PPV buys in the US and with the help of Hatton anther 850K PPV buys in the UK. Those are BIG numbers in a time where EVERYTHING is down.

I thing its PBF. manny needs to fight big name fighters. WITH A LARGE folllowing of FANS. manny.s PPV RANGE IS 250.000. plus he is not going to fight the legit number one conteneder in his DIVISION. and get exposed.he gave moreles a third fight why didn't he give one to JMM.but my pinoy freinds told me that freddy knew next time that JMM HAD MANNY'S NUMBER. bye bye money cow. the only reason he fought JMM second time is they thought JMM WAS SHOT

Hard to vote on this one. I think both are the draw. Most people want to see if Pac is for real and if Floyd can be beaten.

Mayweather is clearly a draw. Manny might have more ppv buys of over 4000 not name De la hoya and Hatton but it was against big big name fighters in Morales twice, Marquez, Barrera rematch. But without big name fighters that are future hall of famers of those 3, Pacquiao ppv numbers suck. Like in the David Diaz fight. Now David Diaz is on the same level as Carlos Baldimor and Mayweather vs Baldimor did 325k while Pacquiao vs Diaz did 250k. Now wityh De la hoya and Hatton. Many say the reason De la hoya vs Pacquiao was less in ppv buys behind Mayweather vs De la hoya cause many say it was a mismatch. Well that is true but many thought Mayweather will easily beat Hatton and that fight should take place at 140 pounds cause Hatton is the smaller fighter while Pacquiao vs Hatton was consider by many an even fight but yet Mayweather vs Hatton did around 900k while Pacquiao vs Hatton did around 800k. I think with Mayweather vs Baldimor did way better ppv buys then Pacquiao vs Diaz proves easily that Mayweather is the bigger draw and should get 60/40 in his favor.

    Liars figure and figures lie.

In terms of excitement inside the ring Pacquiao

. . . in terms of out of the ring antics and controversial personality . . . Mayweather

. . . since we are talking boxing . . . Pacquiao has my vote.

PacMan, and I can give several reasons. 1.) The other guy had people walking out of one of his snooze fests. 2.) PacMan doesn't have to act like a wannabe ghetto gangsta to attract fans. 3.) PacMan doesn't have to resort to insulting or taunting his opponents to sell fights. 4.) PacMan doesn't act all tough at press conferences and then runs all around the ring avoiding contact with the other fighter. 5.) PacMan doesn't have a legion of ******ed fans...well maybe he does but that is for another thread.

In the US: 60-40 Mayweather, it could be close.

Pacquiao is just coming off 2 big wins over oscar delahoya and ricky hatton. I think it's safe to say he is the bigger draw considering mayweather hasn't fought in 1 year and half.
