Not at the rate he's going...If he was to fight more quality fighters than pointless mando's then I would say yes.

If he pulls his finger out and clears out the SMW division he has a good shot at getting close. The division is very strong at the moment, much stronger than it was for the majority of Calzaghe's career. Got a lot to do though.

Beat Froch, Bute, Dawson, Ward, Dirrell and Hopkins then maybe. But Joe would still hold that win over him...

It's possible, but unlikely... seeing that his one loss is to Calzaghe.

But if he cleans out 168 and moves up to 175 and makes some noise there.. I think you could definitely make the argument that it would be more impressive than what Joe's done with the majority of his career. Let's not forget outside of his wins against Kessler and Lacy, Joe has beaten mostly over-the-hill fighters or just plain bums..

He can have a better resume certainly.

Whether that leads to better ATG standing is different. H2H he comes short of Calzaghe, let alone Jones, and accomplishments, he would have to go some, but I hope he does.

Unify the SMW division as it stands today and beat a LHW champ and he could get there.

    IMO, No.
Defo not as his snails pace.
+ His style don't ensure a long Calzaghe/Hopkins like longevity.

if he ever decides to fight he might. i'm giving him about a 2% chance. especially after he took that royal schooling at the hands of JC.

He would have to beat Froch, Bute and another top SMW then move up and beat Dawson or Hopkins. Even then I'm not sure.
