Mosassi v Belfort - Affliction 3 Aug 1st, 2009

I've heard that they have stalled in negotiations as Mousasi wants it at 205 but Belfort is refusing to move up and wants it at 185.

Seems the fight is on then. Very good. Two of the best fighting each other. Mousasi has really hit the top recently and become a known fighter.

 

If it happens this is a sick fight and the winner needs to be signed up by the UFC and fight Silva.

 

Or they can cross promote? Oh wait the UFC won't do anything like that for the fans, nevermind.

 

Affliction will run its 3 event in 13 months while the UFC has had like what 25 ? UFC is doing better things for its fan believe me where the hell is Afflictions video game at ?

 

hahaha you base your opinion on a video game? Like I stated before you can have your quanity I'll take quality everytime. I'd rather wait 6 months for a great card/fight then watch mediocre fights every 2 weeks. You can drink your Coors light I'll take my cab sav instead.

Yeah, but the ''majority'' of quality guys are in the UFC. But I would gladly pay 50 bucks 3 time a year just to watch Fedor ahaha!

This is the first real great Affliction card the other 2 cards where stacked with what was on paper and in real life mismatches. This card isnt any better on paper then UFC 100 or 101.

 

Thats true but maybe we should give them abit of time to announce more then the 3 that they have. I wouldn't think that 3 fights in Affliction would be better then 11 UFC fights. Of course the UFC is more stacked at this point. atsch

 

atm i see Mousasi as a 205er and Belfort as 185er. personally id like to see Mousasi-Babalu at
Affliction 3 and Belfort continue at middleweight.
