A rematch is the least we should have got...again the chin was never tested.

As for Amir Khans chin: I'm not sure it's as bad as everyone makes out. I recall Freddie Roach saying that he held his own against the Pac-man while sparring no holds barred. Although they wear head guards fighters do get knocked out sparring.

Terrible, proved zilch. Khan with his "fast and powerfull" hands couldnt finish off a fighter who was almost blinded by blood and got rocked twice himself in the process. Pisses me of that Khan has that fight as a win.

Khan doesn't belong in the same ring as MAB... really is pathetic that Khan gives any weight to this win

It's a disgrace that this happened in my country. Dave Parris is in Warren's pocket. It's disgusting that the boxing board of control didn't overturn it.

Boxing is a dangerous, harmful sport and boxers deserve better than this rubbish.

That said, MAB was never going to win this fight. Khan got stopped by a young, massive, hard hitting lightweight, not an old, super feather. People got carried away with Khan's lack of chin and what MAB used to be.

This was a disgrace. Any real fan knows the Khan hype machine is working over time to prevent another exposure for as long as possible.

haseem rahman gets a tiny scratch they stop it to save his fight with klitchko ... call it a nc

marco antonio barrera gets an even bigger cut ..they let it go so it can be called a tko ..

    amazing

A rematch would have been a waste of time anyway... any mug could see that Kahn was too big & fast for Barrera at this stage of both of their careers.

MAB would have had a punchers chance but the likely outcome would have been Kahn UD (8-4/9-3)

    :good

Agree with everything but in my opinion Khan would stop him maybe around 5th again. He is just too big too strong and too fast for him.

Khan never stopped Barrera in the 5th round. Your sentence is all wrong.

i have the latest copy of "Boxing Digest". That have an article that is glowing about Khan's win and how it puts him on the world stage, blah blah. They completely and conveniently ignored the nature of the cut and stoppage. Yeah he probably would have one but he shouldn't have one that fight, not the way he did. It was a fix and ruins what could have been a half decent win

Can Khan even come back down to lightweight?
MAB is a fraction of the fighter he was and he needs to bow out before he becomes cannon fodder for every up-and-coming fighter.
