Jones Jr and it's not remotely close in my estimation. The guy was fantastic.

What do you mean by this? Everyone knows that every fight goes exactly the way he thought it would :yep

very true. but even if he were able to better articulate his thoughts.. I still think I'd rather have Emmanuel Steward (if the choice was between the two), if I was choosing the 'expert commentator' for a grand, mega-fight!

I was thinking the same thing.....I watched a few interviews BEFORE the Hatton-Pacquaio fight and Manny Steward kept picking Ricky Hatton saying he's a real strong tough man, blah blah blah.

2:00 minutes INTO the fight, here's Manny Steward, "I don't think he's going to be able to survive this, Manny is too much.....

Mofo always tries to sound like he's right:lol:

Roy Jones by a ****ing miiiile! He's clearly the most professional, least dumbass sounding, and least biased of all the expert commentators they've ever had on HBO.

Well he's 10 times more articulate than mumble and stumble Lennox Lewis.

Here in the UK, we like listening to Lennox try to reach a compromise between his N.American accent... and the way he spoke while he was a "British Heavyweight". He's the worst, obviously.

I'd like to see Bernard & Roy in the same commentator's box. With Big George Foreman in-between. Ha! Or maybe even Larry Merchant.. so that he can get wrecked for 12 rounds.

I noticed his clear bias too. And that's why i don't like him. He almost always seemed to be rooting for one fighter and it showed. You can't have that as a commentator.

i liked Foreman but i couldnt stand him during hopkins-trinidad... i mean, he was riding papi's nuts the whole fight!!!

emanuel always does a good job IMO but he's always crying about stopping the fight and whinning like a lil bit*h at times.

    anyway, i got Lewis..
