5 - 4 Cintron in my book

 

I see this fight turning. Cintron took a lot of body shots in rd 9. Angulo also had a lot of aggression, the rd was close. Im going angulo
10-9 angulo
86-85 cintron...close fight

 

another cintron round but he needs to do more and be more aggressive. he's shown he can keep angulo off with stiff punches

 

riding his bicycles...he still needs to win a rounds to take the fight

These rounds are definitely getting closer. Cintron is still throwing the jab pretty well, but he is obviously tiring. I like the body work that Angulo is doing, but I score this round for Cintron. Angulo now needs a knockdown to have a chance, basically.

88-83 Cintron

 

Angulo's corner says he can still do it if he presses. "You can still do it kid." **** TECHNICAL ADVICE! HE CAN DO IT!

Round 9 begins with both guys trading jabs. Cintron just missed a good night right on Angulo. Cintron back with the much important movement. If he just drifts back, Angulo will get there. If he plays it safe, he can win. Big body punch and Kermit isn't happy. Both guys trade big punches and I think Cintron got the better of it. Cintron goes to tie up but doesn't do it. Cintron ties from behind for a lil bump n grind. Cintron lands a NASTY left but Angulo saw it coming and turned on it. Cintron clinching and he looks a little bit tired. Cintron goes downstairs and now Angulo ties. Cintron drifting straight back now...stupid decision. Cintron drifting backwards again. Cintron looks a bit uncomfortable at the body work. Cintron grabs as we're 30 seconds in. Cintron hit hard the body twice and lets out a little wince.

Nice round to score. The movement, jab and accuracy of Cintron or the body work and consistent effective aggression of Angulo?

5-4 for the sake of nice body work and consistency.

Round 9 was Cintron's. Kermit has kept his composure and showed more ring intelligence, even though it is a good style match-up for him.

Cintron obviously tired but not too much, Angulo too predictable just stalking and eating more and more jabs. Nice hook late by Cintron. Angulo throws but nothing good enough to steal the round and not even close compared to Cintron's superior activity.
