With Dawson giving up his title this division blows. Tavoris Cloud? he's fought nothing put potatoheads. Clinton Woods??? Cmon, another UK poser, he sucks. Where's Diaconu or Erdei? And why aren't they fighting the top dogs. This division is all old men and has beens......

How is Woods a poser? He's been in with the best and lost, never heard him being called anything but an average fighter with heart.

Ok, my bad. He's an average fighter with heart, thats got his ass kicked every time he stepped up. My point was, he is NOT champion material!

Agree with that. The division is weak and Dawson really needs to go down to SMW to get the big fights.

Diaconu is actually fighting a pretty good opponent in Jean Pascal... Least he is trying to look for nice fights.

Erdei will keep fighting poor Euro opponents.

but you're right... this division sucks balls ever since a lot of good fighters left (Briggs, Green, Adamek, etc...)

Yes I know, every division is a disgrace, every fighter is a joke, they have all been exposed or are overrated or glass-jawed. Now go watch the ****ing French Open.

As is the HW division, and the CW, SMW, and MW as well as LMW. Ali was unbeatable, Joe Louis was Jesus. There, now you never have to post again.

dawson's building his name off them and there's nothing wrong with that.

he's not as established as people think.

Middleweight division is just as bad. The two best fighters there by a mile seem like they'll never get it on. Sturm, the true champion of his broom closet is busy fighting Japanese factory workers for 7 figure paydays so we won't hear anything from him in a while. The rest consist of Gary Lockett and Andy Lee.

CW is fairly legit ATM. Adamek is the future (and the present) of that division. SMW is one of the best weights right now. Froch, Bute, Kessler, Pascal, Taylor etc etc soon to be joined by Pavlik and Abraham.

    LMW is OK.

**** BOXREC has Danny Green at # 3 :yikes.....ok so he smashed Stipe Drews to get the WBA title but # 3....maybe the division is a bit short.

Jean Pascal is a mediocre super middleweight. I wouldn't call that a top opponent, but as shallow as the LHW division is, it might have been one of the better fights available.

I say everyone should fight Beibut Shumenov. At least he's not afraid to face the best fighters he can find.
