How can Valuev NOT step in to fight Wlad?!

    It's Valuev's perfect opportunity for a huge fight. He is trained up, and now the chance to fight the numero uno in front of 60,000 fans in Germany is there.

    Surely to God the Giant will go for it??

    Because as the poster above me eloquently pointed out, Valuev is a cash cow to Don King and will be protected as such.

    Not only that but I doubt the WBA would go for it. They'd probably strip Valuev of the title.

    Since when a fighter under a promotional company has the last say? Don King own just a piece of Valuev, Sauerland is Nicolay's daddy. By fighting two bums, he makes as much money as he'd get by fighting Wlad, so why risk?
    It'll never happen.

    This makes too much sense which means in boxing it is not likely to happen.

    Having said that if the cash is right for team Valuev, they might take this fight.

    Valuev has not be willing to meet Vitali before.
