The situation is, there probably isn't any categorical proof that Don King screwed the WBA over. He won the purse bids, and staged the fight in Finland not Germany, so that Chagaev would fail his Hep B med and not be allowed to fight, therefore Valuev gets to keep the belt. John Ruiz is filing a claim against the WBA for Chagaev to be stripped of his Champion In Recess tag, and for him to be installed as Valuev's mandatory, pushing Chagaev out of the picture for good. Ruiz has had his weigh with the WBA in the past, so I expect him to get his wish here. Therefore I don't expect the WBA to sanction Chagaev v Wlad and put their belt on the line, because rightly or wrongly after Don King's pathetic antics, Nikolai Valuev is the official WBA champion still. Unless they can prove that King's intentions were to get Chagaev to fail his medical and get the fight called off all along, then Valuev will keep his belt.
I think Haye will be fighting a Klitschko for sure.. Like I said..Vitali has more time available then Wlad... we will see
wlad need to pick big P, or brain minto or somebody people want to see,, chageav would be good but i thik truely boring.. we need a good fighter in there.
Vitali looked beatable in his last fight. With Vitali's own history of injury problems too though this fight could get made and fall apart too. :|
I have far more respect for Wlad, and I agree with you he is a much tougher challenge. I've always maintained that - when people say who would win 'Wlad or Vitali' - that Wlad would box rings around his brother. He may not have as good a chin, but he's far better technically.
I agree wit that! Wlad is really fast heavyweight! Quick with the hands and feet! Offense and defense there ist nothing that he can do better! Its not exciting to watch but it works and we have to give that to him! Wlad has also a lil bit more power in the right hand and his jab is better then vitalis! Vitali has an iron chin and is not afraid to go to war!
I'm actually feeling highly optomistic about this whole mess the more I think about it (conisdering). If everything goes to plan we could have an undisputed Heavyweight world champion by next year! unless you include that cherrypicker Valuev.
considering what has happened in the last 48 hours, I think we have a good chance at seeing some good fights...im glad there are 2 Klitschkos....we can still see Haye get beat by 1:yep
Yeah, I don't care what anyone says, to me the Ring title has no bias even though GBP owns it now.... but you name me a fighter in their top 10 P4P who don't belong there from there company and I'll question it. Until then it's all about the Ring title.
