Will Shane take the Paul Williams challenge?

Williams can earn respect at 154 where he would probably be most comfortable by beating Dzinziruk, Santos, and MArtinez. Are you telling me none of these guys will fight him? impossible.

I'm not saying he hasn't earned respect already but I'm talking more respect. You're only loss is to a skilled southpaw well you got three skilled southpaw who are just as big as you are right there!

And i know Winky was a skilled southpaw but Winky hadn't done anything in the sport for a long long time before the Williams fight.

 

154 people will fight him. 147 he's SOL. No one will fight him. Clottey would but that won't happen unless Clottey beats Cotto.

 

A fight w/ Mayorga would be pretty entertaining as well. Williams can get fight...he just needs to stop trying to pick from the P4P list...

 

Mosley has had a career of taking fights like this. It seems pretty clear he's trying more than ever, right now, to move away from this type of affair. That seems more than appropriate considering how much time he has left in the sport.

Hopefully he does cuz the pac fight is not 100% sure it's gonna happen. P.will vs mosley should be a nice fight.

 

PAC will be less risk for shane
Shane will get more $ fighting PAC
Why fight if there is a better option for the rewards/risk for Shane.

 

paul williams is the most dangerous fighter for anybody at WW SW, he will be swarmed by punches, but hey, quintana was able to pull it off right? at their first fight i saw quintana hurts him couple of times

 

At 154 he could fight Billy Lyell, Kelly Pavlik's buddy. That could raise interest in a Pavlik fight since Jack Loew trains both. Billy is coming off the win of John Duddy so he has a little momentum.

 

Roach won't let Pac fight Shane unless he sees something he can exploit. I don't think this fight will happen. I think he should fight Williams.

 

why not fight quintana at 154 in a 3rd fight....destroy that guy in the rubber match.....and then see if some big names come calling.

 

It can happen if the money is right IMO... Shane never chicken out from anything... Margarito before they fought was even more scary then PtP IMO

 

Anyone can do that, call out the best (most of whom offer big paydays). He should be beating other conteders in the meantime. Margarito did that at 147 to get his shot... Sharmba Mitchell did it to get his return shot at Tszyu.

 

Williams will totally dominate Mosley .... and Mosley knows it.

Everybody is picking & choosing based on MONEY!!!!! .... Everybody!!!!!

Mosley is running around pleading and chasing Floyd & Manny because they are the Big money makers in the division. And if you don't think that's true ... call HBO and ask them why they're willing to bankroll both Floyd & Manny. Presently the theme in boxing is no big money - no fight. People can talk all the sh*t they want but that is exactly what's happening.

Mosley won't go anywhere near Williams because he will lose and lose badly. And that means no more chances at a big money fight for along time.
