I'm a Ricky fan, but I also am looking at this in the most unbiased way I can.....

There is a strong case he doesn't belong....but there is also a very strong case he gets in.....

He was 45-2 overall with his ony 2 defeats to floyd mayweather, jr. and manny pacquiao.....He was a 2 division world champ at 140 and 147, held multiple titles at 140 and was the lineal champ at 140 for 4 years, which was a good reign for his era at the division.....only notable win was tszyu, and had good wins but nothing great after that......and was teh best ambassador for british boxing for this decade, there might have been other fighters from britian better then hatton for his time, but the perception of hatton will stand the test of time, because of his unique fan base, and willing to come across the pond to take on challenges....

imo opinion Hatton is a lock for the HOF....but i do understand the case against him......

    Your Thoughts?

As a fighter he doesn't deserve to in my opinion....but he's contributed to 2 huge events and was a major PPV attraction. He's also helped popularise the sport in the UK so I think he'll just sneak in.

He was a million times better as a fighter. I hate McGuigan though.

Again no. The Hall of Fame in every sport should be saved for the ELITE Hatton is not ELITE.

i rank malginaggi as one of his best wins as well, still not spectacular, but he has a collection of solid wins,

and the castillo win always bugs me about the criticism about it....sure castillo was shot, but had castillo been knocked down before that fight? NO, corrales stopped him on his feet, hatton put him down....that should be noted.

Considering some of the other fighters who got in I think Hatton will. I dont think he is an ATG but he will make the Hall.

frank warren blows goats too....almost as bad as bob arum....paulie is underrated, who beat paulie, i forgot cotto and hatton.....and btw all those wins of hatton's came when he was with golden boy promos, not frank warren.
