How many rounds will Kotelnik realistically have to win to get a decision?

i think kotelnik will need to win 7-8 rounds, his best chance is to win 7 atleast and get kd off kahn's puss bag of a chin.....insures victory that way.

I think it is the most likely outcome (I don't know who wins though!). However a Kotelnik win by knockout is always possible.

i think that khan has a reach advantage, which may prove useful for keeping kotelnik at distance,as long as his footwork has improved under roach.

kotelnik so puts pressure on kahn, and i see that a as aproblem, kahn wont be able to get off as much as he thinks

i see what you're saying,i hope that roach has eliminated that panic and lose composure thing that khan resorted too when pressured.i am sure that this would only change with age and experience, which he has a bit more of these days.
i remember being at the haye/thompson fight and thinking "he's never going to get over this,he looks like a complete amateur"- i see a similar story with khan.
    what do you reckon?

Khan does not lose many rounds, people say that Kotelnik is good boxer, so is Khan. People think Khan will slow down in the 2nd half of the fight, he will slow a bit but still have good speed to beat Kotelnik to the punch, Khan fast jab will be the key in this fight mark my words.

One of the main things Dr.Roach has been working on with Khan is controling tempo of the fight and not rushing in and taking your time finding the right shots.

I can only see Kotelnik winning only 3 or 4 rounds if he is lucky, or if he can knock Khan down thats something different something you can not rule out with Khan's chin. But I am hoping to see a good defence from Khan aswell.

i agree i actually see this a very sloppy fight and one hard to score, and i dont think it will be very exciting either......i think kotelnik will try to make it look ugly too.

Khan will UD him without a doubt. Roach has wisley or sub-conciously understood that Khan cannot take a good shot to the head and has tried to make him boxer who goes on the backfoot picking his shots more (Khan still mentally wants to come forward and throw his unwise 20 punch combos) but i think he will do just enough to win and get his WBA strap....and defend it once or twice against hand-picked guys and then move down against a light-weight champ who Warren fancies Khan to beat etc

Well he is being carefully matched at the moment.....weather he improves his chin or boxing depends on him BUT i just feel/see careful matchmaking fighting guys that Warren or most of us know he would beat.

The Barrera match was perfect hand picking.......but even in that fight we saw Barrera lovely subtle boxing....making Khan miss with so many shots....and this a faded legend who was known for being the best at super-feather.

I can see Khan fight G. Rees in his first defence and then taking on J. Casymayour when he is 38 then fighting Hatton who will probaly be even more faded and washed up in 2010.

    Lovely match making

i agree, i thought a shot barrera had his moments against kahn as well....

i do not want to see hatton kahn, i respect kahn even though i dont like the guy, i dont think kahn deserves to be in the same arena as ricky let alone the same ring...what did kahn do for british boxing that ricky has done?...but i understand why they would do it if it happens.

Who said it was a gimmie? find him and shoot him........nothing in life and especially in sport is a gimmie......didnt you watch kahn fight prescott? or Vlad against c.sanders?

Clever matchmaking......its what i call putting chocolate source on a shitty choc sponge which hides the shittyness.... those ******* brands know how to cover it up :yep

On a serious note......to be fair if i was promotor....i wouldnt want Khan facing anyone to dangerous.....the guy cant take a shot.
