    Good point. Most HW's are scared of him enough as it is, if he didnt have a piece of the HW Championship he would probably be ducked just like Paul Williams is at 147 - 154 lbs.

    No, Vitali should just fight his mandatories, stay active, and look for the best fights while defending his WBC belt.
    The WBO let Riddick Bowe hold their title after he trashed the WBC belt.

    Without the WBC title, nobody would fight Vitali. Vitali is, by far, the best heavyweight in the world. Why in the Hell should the WBC force Vitali to fight Maskaev?! Vitali stopped Peter, then stopped Gomez/mandatory, so why shouldn't Vitali be allowed to fight someone he wants to fight? Such as Arreola or Haye. He will knock both out.
