Mayweather vs Pac will happen If $$$

    This fight will should happen if they get past their next opponents and the reason why it will happen is because if Mayweather does not humble himself at the negotiation table there is about 5 guys or more who will jump at the chance to take 40% and let Pac take 60%.

    So Floyd needs to realise that if he doesn't humble himself at negotiations then there is other fighters queueing behind him who are willing to be humble and settle for the lesser amount.

    I cant see how Floyd could be so stupid not to humble himself as this is a fight that will get the casual and mainstream fans interested.

    Hardcore fans already know the deal and we already know that Mayweather should be facing fighters in his own division but the pac fight should happen because it is a fan friendly fight and people seem to believe that Pac can bring something new to the table to cause an upset.

    He most definitely can cause an upset but it is a tall order.

    Thoughts on how much you think Floyd should settle for with all things considered above?

    it should happen, arum and floyd, will not miss the biggest pay-day in boxing history....but i do believe the problems with arum and floyd are real, and i kinda agree with floyd i think he should get higher then 40%....he has proved himself as the big ppv guy.....manny has done well, but not floyd type numbers.

    the fans want this fight but i'm far from convinced that mayweather wants this fight. i just don't see him taking it. i hope he does and. but i'm not holding my breath.

    yes there are 5 other guys in line wanting to fight pac.....


    but pacs purse wont be as much as if he were to fight mayweather

    If Floyd KOs Marquez, Pacman may agree to 50-50 split. If PBF plays hard nego, the fight won't happen.

    If Floyd decision Marquez, he could expect 50% less, else the fight won't happen.

    If he losses to Marquez, forget about Floyd 'coz Pacman will fight Marquez instead!

    PBF will ask for a 60-40 split in his favor thus escaping from the fight, watch! His claim for the 60-40 will be that he just KOed Marquez....Meanwhile Pac decapitated mother****ers to the likes of every single boxing fan outthere....

    All depends on Mayweather's next fight's result, performance and PPV numbers. This fight WILL happen anyway, all this talk about it not happening just keeps people more excited. You guys need to remember what happened before Leonard/Hearns took place, people thought it might not happen too and Dundee turned it down numerous times till people got tired talking about how Leonard is scared shitless from Hearns and all of a sudden it's on.

    There will be no need for a rematch after PBF deals with Pacman in the 1st fight. The purse split should be 60-40 in PBF favour or at most 55-45 in PBF's favour.

    Floyd vs pac wont touch what Floyd Oscar did. I think that 1.5 to 1.9 would be the park it would live in.

    this fight has NOT shot of being made for less then 50/50 and why should Floyd take 40% when it has been proven that he is the larger draw of the two. I dont care about all the BS the numbers speak for themselves.

    Bottomline is the fight isnt going to happen and the sooner some of you guys get the the better it will be for you. Arum, and Roach dont want the fight for Pac and that is what it comes down to.
