Jackson would not hit Mayweather solidly once... not ONCE!

 

Julian Jackson who was given fits by Herol Graham (before he got careless).......no just no

 

Well Herol Graham is a lot bigger than Mayweather and an extremely fast southpaw, he gave a lot of the elite middleweights fits. I think at junior middleweight, Jackson would have a pretty big size advantage over Floyd. Clearly the stylistic edge goes to Mayweather and he would be expected to win, but the Mayweather that fought Oscar verses the Jackson that fought Norris would be interesting. Mayweather against Oscar, liked to rest on the ropes and that is where Norris was knocked out. Floyd has never been hit by anyone close to Jackson in terms of power. Not saying he would beat Floyd but him pulling off the upset is not out of the question.

 

Jackson could knock anybody out of course but his punches were pretty rangy and Id take Floyd to see em coming. Mayweather against anybody likes to rest on the ropes for periods and get his shoulders goin but Ive never seen him tagged heavily/repeatedly in doing so.

 

Jackson would blast little Floyd away within 6 rounds.

 

Floyd don't want none of 147lbs..
let alone a killer like Jackson during his 154lbs days.

Chin for chin punch for punch yes, but boxing is not only about that, I wouldnt be surprised if Floyd would win by points in a pot shooting and clinching fight. Thats why we have **** loads of upsets every year.

 

Floyd would build up a nice lead and then "OH NOOOOOOOO! THAT'S WHAT WE'VE BEEN WORRIED ABOUT!"

 

I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE IT WAS LIKE THAT!

Seriously, though, Jackson easily KO's Mayweather but he BETTER since he's picking a fight against a guys whose prime was at super featherweight.

 

Certainly isn't a fair fight at all. Still when the opportunity to relive Herol Graham vs Julian Jackson comes along, we take what we can

If Floyd is still standing after 12 he has a chance, but it doesn't take many solid shots from Jackson and Floyd could be out of there. When Jackson was at or near his prime only big punchers who could take a shot could beat him. Mc Callum and Mc Clellan. Gerald was a big Middleweight and Mike won titles as high as 175. Past his prime Jackson did lose to Verno Phillips.
