The basic concept of the show sounds good.

...but the idea that the winner would be just another tune-up fight for The FIGJAM Man is just mind blowing!

Cos Bika might win. I wonder if the contestants will be hand-picked by Mundine so he can have another easy fight regardless of the winner.

No........I keep telling you guys he will step sideways.

Hes going to look for a vacant or paper title at MW or SMW....until its time to fight Green for the same type of title.....3 division 5 time world champ baby :hey

Mundine will be number 4 in the world at MW, SMW and maybe LHW.....and if thats all he ever does then thats great.....just let it go guys :rofl

If your waiting for him to fight a top 3 then you will grow old quick.

Lets look at the possible contenders.....{non world title holders}.....in MW and SMW in Aust.....this would be my 12

    Crampton
    Sherrington
    Pitman
    Taylor
    Clenshaw
    Hamden
    Geale
    Sonni
    Kazzi
    Soliman
    Bryant
    Junior

That would be great to see this group go round....and the winner to fight Mundine....I got no problem with that at all.

Of course he is not going to step up. Only the deluded out there would believe that Anthony will fight one of the top 3 at 160 or 168.

And to think some fools actually thought the Pavlik/Sturm talk had even an ounce of truth to it.

With Soliman now fighting for the IBO title eliminator, a Mundine-Soliman 4 fight is now a much safer bet. So who's excited? Cos I can hardly contain myself.

I remember watching one of Mundine`s first fights here in Montreal of all places and was pretty impressed. He made some good progress after that but after fighting (and losing) to guys like Kessler and Ottke, he hasn`t exactly lit the world on fire (the notable wins I have in my mind are Green and Echols)

Its a sad state of affairs if he`s just going to be locked away in Australia (by his own choosing) for the rest of his career. Would have loved to see more of the guy.

is it better to step up, fight a top class fighter and get beat? or to stay at the same level and go sideways like it seems mundine does. i cant understand why he does this, is it puerly because he's not good enough? i along with many out there think he is, so wats the jonh dory?

This story is just the Daily Telegraph making a cheap excuse to **** can Mundine. They do it all the time. People buy into their garbage which is why they keep producing such stories.

A good report in the paper would be to promote the show and what benefits it will bring to Aussie boxing. But NO...lets bag Mundine so we can a sell a few more papers.

    That's not right.:nono

The media **** cans Mandy because he doesn't do what he claims.
He says one thing one month and the next month does something else.

Mandy claims he is the best in the world, yet he won't fight the best in the world.
The **** he gets is warranted.

The fight with Geale was a great step up and a great fight. Instead of using that as a stepping stone for further greatness, he's going to go backwards again.
