Yeah, but since his chin wasn't 'shattered' it was still a good analogy. It 'held' and was 'hard'. Not dented. I just enjoy poking fun the the thread starter's belief he is some kind of expert because he has proclaimed himself one. Obviously this thread shows to what depths he will sink to justify his self delusion. I wish he would just see that no one is buying his bull **** and give it up and move on.

So anytime a fighter gets beaten to the punch and dropped it's a balance issue? :huh

I'm going to say it again, he was off balance because if Cotto hits him with a left hook right in the chin and he doesn't even wobble, that means he does have a great chin. I don't think Cotto's jab is more powerful than his left hook so I believe that Clottey was off balance.

Discussion was about metal. You want to change the topic we can't read your mind, you have to specify.

    DUDE!!!
For someone to claim to be a boxing fan - That statement and this thread is the absolute most foolish, stupidest I've ever seen. Now either you're just perpetrating to be a boxing fan or you're just plain ignorant of the sport.:tired

Strange that the only person that i really hate in the world is someone i never saw in person.

    It is YOU.

Being perfectly timed. Caught off balance. NOthing related to the chin. You ****ing chin expert should know that having a bad chin is related to the fact of being "buzzed" by single (and sometimes weak looking) shot. Clottey was never "buzzed" on the entire fight and he did receive shots way harder than that jab.

No, please, just leave ESB. Ok?

Cottos jab should be counted as a power punch.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. What knockdown? Clottey destroys Cotto remember? Clottey is a beast and has an "granite, undestructible chin, you have to be Godzilla to drop him, he took Margarito's punches and didn't drop" remember? This Cotto guy is no good for ****, sucks too, he's just not that good isn't this the ESB mantra with him? What knockdown? Clottey is "invincible".
