Mayweather-Marquez Postponed! Floyd sustains rib injury.

A poster here on ESB had reported that since the fight wasn't selling well the fight would be postponed and one of the fighters would claim an injury. Then the fight would be televised in regular HBO as to save face and avoid a PPV event that didn't sell well.

 

Damn..I forgot about UFC 100! It's never a good idea to go against any other PPV, let alone a big one like 100. It would definitely hurt the sales of their own fight and stunt Floyd's ability to demand the larger purse against Pacquiao. I would prefer this scenario to Floyd actually being hurt though.

Still it's awfully close to their BIG PPV. It wouldnt be bad to push it back.

Please not be true, I booked my first holiday to vegas based on this fight and got the 300 dollar tickets absolutely gutted.

 

dreadfully poor ticket sales are the probably real reason. thus proving what kind of weak draw phloyd is.
