Sure it did???? Then why was he pretending to run towards Cotto in a stupid fashion trying to remind him of his past fight with Margie....which obviously turned out to be his prime strategy.....dummy.

That's ****ing hilarious. Reminds me of a professional wrestling throw with Clottey having his face down on the canvas after the throw.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Clottey was also throwing elbows ...... he'd throw a hook with no intention of landing with his fist then he'd turn his elbow at the end of the hook to try and wack cotto with it...a tactic that duran was really good at.....

Mercante caught him and warned him.....then the headbutt from round 3 and you can see this was an eye for an eye type fight

Clottey probably would have been deducted a point for assing Cotto in the foot...

No, I meant it was cool earlier. We all make mistakes.

I might be wrong, but I saw it very differently. It looked to me like Clottey twisted or 'rolled' his ankle after missing and tried to clutch (hold) Cotto. Cotto just pushed him off and Clottey couldn't support his own weight and fell.

Clottey jumped to hug onto Cotto, who was rightly not having any of it and shrugged him off. Clottey, who was stupid and had his feet of the ground ended up on the floor and then acting like a little whiny ***** and tried to get Cotto disqualified. He went from immobile and writhing in agony to find within a couple of minutes. Cotto should have been warned, sure, but with the other camera angle you see that the ref doesn't see it.

cotto gets clottey in a corner, he is about to get a combination going, then the guy comes to give him a hug, what do you expect him to do?

I honestly can't believe you can come out with such horse****. McGrain is one of the most knowledgeable posters on this site and all you ever seem to slever about is how much you hate Cotto, yet noone should take HIM seriously. Get a grip you ****ing muppet.

I think the body slam was intentional, but the tap on the back of the head and the "low-blow" weren't. Clottey wasn't even facing him when they spun around cuz he was busy holding on to his arm, and the low-blow was intended as a body shot. But how can anyone really deny the WWE bodyslam of death though?

Great GIF right there. Looks like Clottey fell off balanced because Cotto caught him in mid-air with his feet of the ground while trying to lunge in with a left hook. Bad break for Clottey.
