Gah... every time I start getting a little sick of Manny, I see an avy like that and my mancrush comes back with full force. You can just read his mind in that shot... "Yup, I got this." :rofl
The question is ... since when has a fight become "TOO RISKY" for Pro. fighters. All fights IMHO are risky .... so when is it too risky.
I think that he thinks that Cotto is ripe for the picking. I don't necessarily agree with that but it looks like we will get a chance to find that out.
Yeah no ****:good I like Paul but he aint no welter no more, he should be going after Abraham and Pav, establish himself at middle!!!!!!! Mosley deserves anybody he want's he has got more balls then every other champ 140-160 bar none!!!!!!!!
Mosley is currently left standing in the cold. I wish he would just go ahead and fight Williams and get it over with. I would much rather see him fight Pcaquiao or Mayweather - but it would be good to see Mosley try to solve the Williams riddle. He couldn't do it with Forrest or Wright - but perhaps those experiences and his new trainer Nazim Richardson would serve him well.
"Too risky" is a perfectly accurate description of the challenge that Williams poses to Mosley. Mosley is getting up there in age. A win over Williams does little to enhance his legacy. Even worse, a win over Williams will make his primary targets even more reluctant than they already are. Nobody is gonna go near Mosley if he beats Williams. At least not Pac, Cotto, or Floyd. If he loses, he will probably be locked out of those fights, too. If Mosley needs a stay busy fight, he should find someone else, because Williams is too risky at this point. But Mosley is crazy, so I suspect it might happen.
He's a losing proposition for anyone. You win and they'll say he's past his prime and the win means nothing. You lose and you're getting your ass kicked on TV by shane mosley.
You're telling a 38 year old man that has always fought against guys that no one had the balls to fight to fight like a man? Paul needs to quit trying to fight these smaller guys/ older guys. He lost to Quintana at 147. He should be a middleweight. Why should Mosley only fight guys like Williams?
I gotta admit I love the title of this. The Disgruntled Mosley Fans Express. That's very un-Mosley like to say the least. Anybody who knows Shane Mosley knows that the man is never disgruntled or even mildly agitated. This should really be the "We don't have a fight yet but everything's still good" Shane Mosley Fan Express.
i love watching Mosley more than most but Paul Williams is right there and brings a ton of cash to the table so its hard to feel bad for sugar shane
What makes you think Williams brings tons of cash to the table? Not long ago he was fighting on BAD. I doubt Shane vs Paul even sells out or is even on ppv.
I'm on the Express. Shane deserves a megafight but it's looking like he may have to settle for someone like Joshua Clottey or Zab Judah unfortunately.
**** that! We fans are allowed to be disgruntled. We want to see Shane get an opportunity against Pac or Floyd, because deep down, we all believe Shane can win these fights, and we know the clock is ticking. We have ever right to be disgruntled. :smoke
