Let's face it, no-one agrees with each other on this issue or the Boxrec computer. They are completely subjective and fantasy. That said, they are quite difficult to do- how do you rank someone? Just what criteria should you meet to be considered a top P4P fighter? If someone is inactive but intent on returning should they be ditched from the list? Is P4P unfair on the big guys? If someone has had considerable success since a defeat and not avenged it, does their former conquerer deserve to be above them? Let's hear your P4P list, it's just a bit of fun so put it into perspective if you don't agree with me or anyone else. I'm going with:

1- Manny Pacquiao- No need to justify that one.

2- JMM- IMO, won the 2nd Pacman fight and has cemented his reputation with massive wins over Casamayor and Juan Diaz.

3- Floyd Mayweather Jr- inactivity has cost him top spot.

4- Shane Mosley- Destroyed Margarito in an amazing performance. Just who wants to fight him next?

5- Israel Vasquez- After the epic trilogy he is finally set to return later in the year and the boxing world cannot wait.

6- Bernard Hopkins- Did anyone expect him to beat KP? I certainly didn't and, let's face it, he gave a guy tipped to go on to massive things a masterclass in boxing.

7- Paul Williams- The fact that a guy over 6 feet tall and a bigger armspan that the Klitschko's is fighting between 147-168 is incredible. Avenged his only loss, was impressive against Verno Phillips and looked good against a ringrusty Winky. Same situation as Mosley- who wants to fight this guy?

8- Miguel Cotto- Yes the fight with Clottey was close but I still think he deserves a P4P ranking based on his previous opponents.

9- Vic Darchinyan- Huge wins over Mijares and Arce have almost erased the Donaire KO. Bidding to become a three weight world champion next month by jumping in with power-puncher Agbeko in a tough first fight @ Bantamweight, IMO. Will we see a rematch with Donaire? Probably not.

10- Vitali Klitschko- I had to put a HW in the list as I felt all of the smaller guys were getting the credit. Boxed Peter intelligently in my eyes for a comeback fight and out of all of the HWs, he has the better resume, IMO. Number 10 was always going to be hard to fill in though.

Just to point out that I have eliminated Margarito on purpose- a cheat doesn't deserve to be on the list; I know people will mention Mosley but he is clean now and it is plausible that you could take performance enhancers by accident as he claims he did. I've also left out Donaire and Rafael Marquez- which was incredibly difficult but I felt their former foes had just pipped them. As for #10 I did kop out a bit there- I just wanted to include a bigger guy in my list- maybe I should have went with Marquez. I am willing to concede defeat in that arguement, but it just proves the point that it is hard to do these lists. The welterweights and the guys floating around the weight have dominated this list and rightly so, IMO. Remember this is just a bit of fun- any thoughts?

How can you possibly put Vitali in over Donaire? Vitali isn't even the best heavyweight in the world.

I did say that I wanted to include a big guy just to show that I wasn't being biased. I do accept that it probably wasn't the right decision; something I mentioned in my first post. It's just a debate, mate- that is all. The more I think about it, the more I should have replaced Vitali with Rafael Marquez. I still think Darchinyan has moved on more since Donaire since their fight, though. Either way, it's just a list. Post yours.

Donaire could easily jump into the list. And yes Cotto is above shane and i wouldnt care if he struggled with anybody in the world if he had that brutal gash over his eye.

    1) Pac
    2) JMM
    3) Mosley
    4) Donaire (I realise he's very high but I think a hell of a lot of him)
    5) P. Williams
    6) Hopkins
    7) Darchinyan
    8) Cotto
    9) Vasquez
    10) RMM

The last 2 are in but they need to have some decent fights soon!!!

People are saying Cotto doesn't deserve to be in etc. but coming through a tough bout against Clottey like that means more to me than beating Antonio "I was never any good" Tarver twice.

Personally I can see no justification at all for putting Dawson in the top 10. For me he hasn't even beaten a top 30 fighter and is yet to prove himself the best in the division (unless the rumours are true and B-Hop is done). Add to that he's in a veryu weak division, and I'll reserve my judgment. Tell me what he's done that is greater than Guzman...Bradley...Gonzalez....Soto....Campbell!?!?! True he's very talented...but so is Gamboa and I don't see him making anyone's list!!!

What on earth are you on about? I don't have an obsession with chins at all. Williams is true defintion of a P4P. This guy will fight them all: Mosely, Cotto, PBF, Pavlik, Calzaghe... he has called for them all and none will meet for fear of an outcome similar to the Quintana rematch.

Williams has everyone from 147-160 RUNNING IN FEAR.
