So you think that the shop worn version of Cotto who was in full retreat versus Clottey, has a better chance against Pacquiao than Mayweather, who is undefeated and one of the greatest defensive boxers in history?

Default Paul Williams aside...Pac is the only welterweight that can beat Mayweather.
He has the skills, the speed, the power, the tenacity, and the heart to do so.

Mayweather would pick outpoint Clottey to a wide decision, coasting. He would pick Cotto apart and probably TKO him late. Margarito is finished.

    And I forgot about Mosley...

**** it though. I'm not retyping the title.

My point is that it will be a great fight, and Mayweather is a marketing genius.

After he beats Marquez on the Mexican Independence Day and Pac annhiliated Cotto, this fight will be MASSIVE.

I wish I was involved with this ****. I may not have to work anymore.

    The money will be unreal.

On a good night Pacquiao could probably beat Mayweather. But on any given day of the week, Mayweather can beat Pacquiao easy. Pacquiao is one tough fighter with improved boxing skills, but Mayweather is a pure boxer of the most talented in history.

WTF! did you watch the ODLH v Pac and Hatton V Pac? and don't say that the guys only stood in front and let manny punch them and humiliate themselves if front of million.

Agree witth the TS. Williams and Pac are the only two who could beat him. Shane's incredibly overrated on these boards, Cotto now criminally underrated

IF anyone is being under-rated on this thread, it is Floyd. You folks need to go back and watch two fights, Corrales-Castillo 1 and Mayweather-Corrales. To quote someone, "Y'all musta forgot"...

I think you are right....if there was one other person who had a shot it would be shane although I feel PAC at this stage in his career has a better shot! PW beats everyone at 147 due to his physical demensions and incredible work rate....Not to mention his under rated skills.

I try my absolute best not to be biased because i am a fighter, and i understand how these guys think, what they sacrifice and how hard they work. And PAC and PBF are two of the most intense workers out there in ANY sport. But at the end of the day, truely and honestly, if this fight happened, can you really see manny with his hand raised at the end? He is fast, powerful, and intense. But PBF has more than just skill. With his shitty trash talk beside, he is one of the most skilled fighters to put on a pair of gloves, and BY FAR the smartest.. i just don't see how PBF won't be able to adjust to anything Manny throws at him. And personally i think the lighter the weight, actually the better PBF will be ( to some extent, has to be realistic). but i just dont see manny walking out of that ring with his hands raised
