    I'd say Mexico holds the edge for depth, but it's hard to split hairs between the very best fighters of both countries.

    I dont know why, but it always seems Puerto Rican fighters never have that good of a chin. They always get dropped or wobbled very easily. Good recovery skills though.

    Last time I check it was 39-22 in championship fights PR leads.....Nuff said.......

    No, not "nuff said", because what isn't said is that a PR will defend his title against a TJ taxi driver and then they'll have a parade celebrating the win.

    More MX tomato cans go to the states or PR to fight then vice versa.

    What matters is when two champion calibre opponents face each other, like Chavez-Rosario or Gomez-Sanchez, not Cotto-MX BUM.

    not to mention they dont count all the fights taken place with a chicano involved.....

    and another thing, they rarely ever fight each other....

    I think it's pretty clear That Puerto Ricans are the best fighters in championship fights.

    Both have some of the greatest fighters in history and actuality I consider PR a like a lynx but Mexico is like a lion!

    I could give a **** who has won more championships or bla bla bla but fact of the matter is, there aint no better rivalry whenever a PR n Mexican go toe to toe...

    Greatest rivalry in sports..not a hateful one either, I have the utmost respect for Mexican warriors like Chavez, MAB, Morales,etc.
