I personally think that whatever 'explosiveness' or flare Judah had left in his tank got drained and simply vanished from all of the accumulated hard shots he took in his bout with Cotto. Maybe he was just shaky coming off of the TKO..who knows.

Zab might not have concussive KO power but he has speed and with speed you can stun just about anyone. Honestly anyone can get dropped by a simple punch that isn't very hard if you didn't see it coming. If you saw a punch coming you could most likely take a punch 10x harder than the weakter punch that you didn't see coming. This is why Zab Judah is dangerous, his speed allows him to counter punch people when they have no idea where it came from. The brain has no way to brace and prepare itself when it gets blindsided by a punch it never saw.

James Toney never really had sickening KO power, but that guy knocked people the f out.. why? cus his punches are all counters and shots you really aren't expecting.

Why was Trinidad able to take the sick beating that he absorbed by Hopkins for 12 rounds but when that right counter landed he was 100% destroyed because he was perfectly countered not really because it was a mike tyson type of punch. Speed fighters like Zab are always dangerous because they can counter even faster.

jecxbox: speed = power and power = speed, they both amount to the same thing - opponenet knocked out, knocked down, or hurt. I consider his speed as part of his power which is what this discussion is about. At least according to the parent poster who said Judah's power is overrated which is blasphemy. You cannot consider yourself a knowledgeable fan by claiming that. look, his chin might not be the best, and his ring smarts might not be the best, but to claim his power is overrated is just a hater statement all day. Zab will give anyone problems and he will be back mark my words.
