Froch would walk Taylor down from the opening bell,he would not be tentative or lacking in confidence should they fight a second time.I'd pick Froch by mid round KO

A lot of people make it seem like Froch wasn't hitting Taylor at all and wearing him down. Froch was HURTING Taylor with those HEAVY HANDED blows of his. It just took a while for him to really get going. A lot of that was to do with the poor warmup for the fight Froch had. A lot of people seem to also think it was DOMINATING boxing performance from Jermain, not at all: the fight I saw was far more even than that.

It's completely irrelevant. Taylor was a ***** when it came to getting him to sign that contract- EVERYTHING was done on his terms in the end. Do you really think Froch would offer the mandatory a rematch, especially after the contract wranglings? At the end of the day Taylor gassed and lost- it was always a 12 round fight and he seriously needs to sort out his stamina issues. Granted, if it were 10 rounds I accept he'd now be the champion but come on, mate. Give credit where it's due.

..why not just stop the fight if Jermain gets in trouble & award him the victory?

Froch trying to walk Taylor down would be really stupid. He doesn't have the skills to keep from getting absolutely dominated if he were to try a fight plan that simplistic.

No KO...JT would be extra safe/scared/nervous...and throw like 30 jabs a round...maybe half of a power punch, and be happy to survive in a unanimous decision loss.
