Well, then it's simply your opinion Shane doesn't want to fight him since he hasn't fought since he beat Margarito. But wouldn't you wait around for a while at age 37 for a HUGE $ fight rather than fight a guy who is an extremely tough style matchup and and brings very little money to the table?

Williams is avoided at 147, but he needs to fight more there and build his name up and beat top 10 guys to get to the point where he can demand big $ and big fights. Who has he beaten at 47 that makes him the man at Welter?

I do admit that was not the same Margarito that fought Cotto. However, the use of plaster pads in that fight was clear. The swelling to Cotto's face was SICKENING. He took a fair amount of punches but he also took a lot against Clottey and Mosely and there was no comparison of the state of him. Pretty much all the evidence points to Margarito using hard pads in his gloves/wraps. I mean how the **** can you rip someone's ear off with a punch unless there was something modified with them?

 

How can you call him a Welter when his last 3 fights have been at 160 and 154?

Mosely has OPENLY DUCKED Williams - this is a fact. Williams can't fight anyway to prove himself as THEY ARE ALL TOO SCARED.

To be fair though, I don't have too much of a problem with Mosely taking one last big pay day (i.e., a Pac/Mayweather matchup) and retiring. He certainly needs to with the divorce (no Mosely hate) and he is getting slurred speech.

It's common knowledge that Goosen mucked up the deal with Arum. There was no ducking involved. Goosen simply screwed up the negotiations buy asking for more money after they had already agreed on $1.25 million for Paul.

 

Ok. I do remember something about Williams/Pavlik but couldn't remember the details such as the agreed $1.25M. Goosen is a ****ing idiot if that is true.

 

Actually Pavlik was already in training for Williams when Goosen bought Paul a stay of exection by screwing with Arum and HBO.

 

Why would any fighter who is a legitimate Welter/Jr Middle fight this guy who is a weight cheating mother ****er who should fight at MW or SMW?
