Where does Clottey go from here?

i hope he fights on cause I legitimately like his style and find his fights exciting for the most part. HOWEVER, he was a whiny **** last weekend whose faking and flailing about turned off a lot of fans

 

Just what I said after the fight. He should apply for a ranking in the WBC and go after Berto.

 

He should stay active. Keep getting fights worthy of HBO, weather it's BAD or WCB...He doesn't even have to headline. He just needed to keep having televised fights until name recognition grows and he becomes a "name fighter".

Some guys he could fight which would be HBO worthy include...

-Daniel Santos (at 154)
-Kermit Cintron (at 154)
-Cory Spinks (at 154)
-Vernon Forrest (at 154)
-James Kirkland (at 154)

-Andre Berto (at 147)
-Carlos Quintana (at 147)
-Luis Collazo (at 147)



These are all fights that are legitimately possible. If he gets a couple more solid wins against 2 of these foes, the top fighters and HBO would have no choice but to match clottey up in a headliner again.
