I could be wrong tho I cant remember seeing him, anyway sjhould be a good step up for Jnr who is on a roll as of late. Also on the same card is the fearless Rob Toomey who is locking horns with one of the most feared men in the country King Davidson, congrats to Gummy for always taking the fights no one else wants. Then in Melbourne the highly touted Serge Yannick will certainly have his hands full with Townsville's own Joel Casey a very interesting cross roads battle indeed, also on the card look for an upset when Flash Villacura takes on the unbeaten Ianazzo, I saw Flash fight Brunker last week and push him all the way I think the lower weight will suit the Pinoy. Yeah Benny has been on the tube once of twice Texan...Gone to the states and the UK for fight..I actually found him to be quite good..Fairly technically proficient for the domestic level. A fluid, neat style but nothing special, I think he will have a lot of trouble with Junior's physical strength. I may still go to that fight...I have to work till 930 that night..I have a few mates from the shire going..But by the time I get there I think it wouldnt be worth it.
Good stuff Joe. Yannick v Casey promises plenty. Yannick has great potential but made the 'mistake' of knocking off Parker Jnr in his very first fight. It's cost him fights since and part of the reason why he's only had 3 in over 2 years. Yannick's a stable mate of Micevic who won the Aust title in defeating Casey. Yannick works well against Micevic, so this should be a goodun'.
