The boys obviously got talent, but what i want your opinions on is how far you think he can go in a strong division, and what about if and when he decides to move up in weight?

I'd guess he'll win titles all the way up to lightweight and be a P4P top 3 at some point. Right now, there aren't many I'd favor to beat him at 122 - 130.

I rate the kid Big Time, i can see him Cleaning up in Devastating fashion at Super Bantom, KOing Izzy, Raffy and co, moving up whipping ass and then doing very well at a third weight before eventually losing! Future Hall Of Famer mark my words

He's going to be a top 3 P4P fighter within the next 2-3 years, IMO. Although one of his wins reeked of being a fix, he's got all the tools necessary to not just be good, but to be dominant. Juanma-Gamboa's going to be the fight to make in 2011.

I see this also, i sized the division up the other day and he'd beat Israel Vazquez, Rafael Marquez, Caballero even! I know he has certain things to prove still in terms of his own skills as a boxer such as chin/durability in late rounds etc. but he has all the makings of a true puerto rican legend.

    Cabellero would probably beat him.

I dont know how anyone would cope with Juanma's power, Cabellero is the smaller weights answer to PW but i still give Juanma the edge.

I think he can go VERY very far. The problem of course is how focused he can keep himself as he becomes a bigger star and (potentially) challenges Miguel Cotto for the PR mantle.

He's promising but it's hard to say really as to how far he'll go cuz there are still many unanswered questions about him.. I want to see him get checked by someone with true punching power and i want to know if he can handle pressure and fight through adversity.. Or if he can be as effective in the later rounds as he is in the first half of the fight.

He hasn't been truly tested yet..
