Since Pac/Cotto will probably be happening. I think Mosley should just fight either Berto or Chavez Jr. He could be either one of them pretty easily. I don't think anyone will fight Paul Williams at 147, and that includes Mosley,Cotto,Mayweather, and Pacman. If he takes Berto's belt away them maybe in 2010 he will get a shot at Mayweather or Pacman.

Berto isn't a bad fight if he wants to stay active, at least Berto offers his 0 and the WBC titles. Chavez Jr. still needs about 20 more nurses, 4 cabdrivers and 10 trilogies/life and death robberies with kindergarten dropouts all on PPV to be ready.

Neither Arum nor DiBella would let that happen. They don't want their cash cows to get a beatdown.

Mosley-Williams seems pretty likely to me, if they can both realize that neither one is a big draw and thus agree that neither one will make mucho buckos.

Arum is going to keep it in the stable, no way will he risk either guys right now unless he guarantees a win for him in the end. He did it with Margarito/Cotto by completely ditching Williams and always does it, it's his job.

    Mosley would knock either out.

Clottey is screaming for a Williams fight.

Mosley is the type who would fight Williams as well he ducks no man but its more likely he takes on Berto and Stops him. Berto is top notch tho, he actually reminds me of a young Mosley but without that raw power and that Iron Chin

Berto is a more dangerous fight for Shane than Pacquiao or a rematch with Cotto would actually be. Berto, and I can't get enough tired of sayin it out loud, is an unknown quantity in the Division b'cause he didn't face anyone other than Collazo and he could well had a night off then... He's a young man, exceptionally fast handed, good punching power and technique, hey, Shane is no young man to take such a challenge just to occupy his spare time.

Mosley against Chavez Jr would be the life time achievement award for Shane. A very nice pay day on PPV against a fighter he'd handle easily? Lifetime acheivement award. Put it down that Berto's people probably wouldn't put him in with Shane just yet. Berto was rushed a bit and needs some more work.

i think he will fight berto first, before a jr or williams......berto is the perfect chance for him to set-up a mega fight re-match with cotto, if cotto was to upset manny.

    About which part?

About Mosley taking a fight against Chavez Jr where he'd get a nice fat pay day against a no hope opponent?

Or about Berto's people avoiding a Mosley fight?
