I don't see it. Compare the likes of Trinidad Mosley DLH Vargas MAB Morales Whitaker Quartey RJJ Hopkins to Cotto Williams Clottey Berto Quintana Hatton Valero Guzman Pavlik Dawson Todays fighters look good against each other, but what happens when you put an old fighter like Hopkins with a prime Pavlik? Or an old fighter like osley against Margarito? A Prime Mosley KO Cotto imo. A Prime Hopkins KO Pavlik and Taylor on the same night. Just look at the HW division today as a measuring stick to see how much talent boxing has lost.
I would say mosley, but not by much......mosley has the more impressive victories IMO....and is stil relenquishing young guns in his mid to late 30's.....i think some fall in love with tito's power a little too much, sure he was a great fighter.....but overall top to bottom mosley is rated higher.....
Trinidad and for those who were there not just comparing resumes you know why. At one point Tito was the life of boxing he went on a run that still to this day i have not seen copied. fighting undefeated fighter after undefeated fighter winning belt after belt. **** if we had a fighter like that today... man i wish. Quick question for real though, who did Mosley ever fight at lightweight? great resume at welter but i can't think of any big wins without going to boxrec at 135?
atsch Dont you have to win those fights??? Its the same argument that I always make about Duran..Fighting great fighters dont make you great unless your winning the fights. Mosely's resume trumps Tito's EASY. Tito's greatest wins---Oscar---Vargas---Reid...One he didnt really win, and the other two he had to cheat to win, punching both in the nuts a number of times to slow them down when he was hurt. No way in hell should this even be close...but this is ESB afterall..Home of the blind sackswingers:hi:
Yea but Tito was way past his prime and rusty.. Not only that, but he only lost once to winky unlike mosley who's **** was pushed in back to back.
