Don't even start thinking this guy doesnt suck, because he does. Dawson who vacated his belt would own both of these guys on the same night.

maybe your right about dawson but Pascal is a the real deal and diaconu is a very good fighter. Only people looking to get reactions and idiots would call either of these guys bums.

This is a paper belt that Dawson vacated. Lets see Dawson would beat Pascal 12-0, and Diaconu 12-0,if they dont get knocked out.

I remember Carl Froch giving this guy a boxing lesson.

well you remember incorrectly because there was no boxing involved on behalf of Froch. They just slugged it out, hardly any boxing from either guy but if anyone was boxing it was Pascal in that fight and Froch won on being a tough ******* with a good chin and just slugging it out. He barely won too, he won a very close decision that some people felt coulda gone either way I'd hardly say that qualifies as a boxing lesson and if anyone were to give a boxing lesson it wouldn't be Froch as he relies on a good chin and power in his punches to win fights and employs very little actualy boxing.

Dawson would be the solid favorite over both of them, but it'd do him alot of good to actually do it. Dawson's got star potential, but what his team doesn't understand is that it's putting your man in exciting fights like Froch-Pascal and Pascal-Diaconu that help build up fanbases from the ground up. Even if the opposition isn't as proven, fans will appreciate that kind of thing and that's how you build new ones. Going into hostile territory and putting on a great show will gain you alot of positive exposure.

With everything Chad's got going for him, he could be a star right now. He's not. And he's not the first fighter Gary Shaw's mismanaged if Shaw's goal is to build a big audience for his fighters.

Pascal learned so much from that fight with Froch that I bet you he will beat Froch if there was a rematch tomorrow morning.

Problem is beatting up on Pascal and Diaconu would do nothing for Dawson. Plus they wouldnt be exciting fights. Dawson would badly outbox both. Dawson's problem is there is no one for him to fight. Hopkins wont fight him, If he beats Johnson there is nothing left but to drop down. Dawson is too good of a fighter to be buring time fighting guys on this level, lets be honest. 168 is the only place for him now, after the fight with Johnson.

    Heres a funny
Diaconu would do better against Dawson whom Pascal would loose to.
Styles make fights. Lucky for Pascal that Diaconu can't throw a straight right to save himself. Where as Dawson can and would but he himself is susceptible to hooks which Diaconu throws all night long. (like Johnson)

    I vote for a rematch.
    Definitely worthy of it.

Remember that Pascal is only 26 and was recovering from a serious injury before the Froch fight. AND, was injured in the training camp against Froch.

My final thought, you're a hater and suck Dawson's nuts.

Brawbrawbraw, what ? Take off the thing in your mouth !!! Yeah, the balls...

I agree with you that 168's the place for him to go after the Johnson fight- there's better competition and a great chance for him to become a 2 division champ. If he's going to stay at 175, though, being able to generate any new fans should be the priority for him and that's something both Diaconu and Pascal bring to the table. Hell, Andrade lost against Bute and he still found himself fighting in Montreal afterwards because the fans want to see him- so there is precedent there. If Chad decides to stay at 175, they should be on his short list.

Then again, we're dealing with Gary Shaw here, and he seems to have a knack for not developing the fanbases to match the upper weight talent he signs because the higher classes don't look to be his specialty. They need to step up Dirrell's competition so he doesn't stagnate, too.
