Atlas on 116-111 Cotto Score

Without the knockdown you could legitimately give Clottey the first 3 rounds. I dont bye the cut bull****. Clottey was going to give hell to Cotto regardless.

Clottey landed 50 more punches then Cotto, had a much better connect percentage, and didnt have a mark on him when the fight finished.

rewatch the fight without beer goggles on and see what punches Cotto lands and how many flush shots Clottey landed. Its clear who won the fight.

 

So 114-113 Clottey is the correct score, yet 114-113 Cotto is an outrageous score that can only be grasped if you count hitting gloves as effective punching. That's only one round different. Sounds to me like you didn't actually score the fight but you just have some vague sense of who you thought won. If you thought Clottey was landing the bulk of the good punches shouldn't your idea of the correct score be something like 116-111 Clottey?

This might help me understand your perspective, how would you describe round 6?

 

The only round that Clottey didnt win by an astonishing wide margin was round 4. But if you notice for most of that round Cotto lands on nothing but gloves, and Clottey throws a 5 punch combination that lands flush every time. So the round goes to Clottey. All the other rounds Clottey won were far to wide to possibly score for Cotto.

And thats with me giving Cotto rounds 11 and 12. 11 being supremely generous.

Oh trust me, I scored the fight on this forum and gave a pretty detailed analysis of it.

114-113 Clottey

As you can see most of Clotteys rounds were clear as day. Cotto's rounds except for 2 the 1st and the 6th could have gone either way, but I scored it for Cotto because he was more active and tended to steal alot of rounds in the closing seconds. So to anyone that says, "well Cotto could have won a round that was close" No. Every round that Clottey won, he won by a wide margin, to give Cotto rounds you would actually have to give him the benefit of the doubt, which I did, even though even during the 11th and 12th he was far from impressive, and just ran and when he did punch couldnt penetrate Clotteys guard.

As for round 10, which from what I see alot of people are giving Cotto. That is a joke. Cotto landed 2 punches that round cleanly. 2. To right hooks at the end of the round. Sorry that doesnt cut it, especially for the fact that Clottey pretty much dominated this round, throwing clean combinations and sneaking his jab through Cotto's gloves.

And Compubox pretty much validates me. Clottey landed 16 punches to Cotto's 7.

Anyone that gives any round from round 7-10 to Cotto, shouldnt be scoring fights, but should be getting their eyes checked.


And im not biased, I actually picked Cotto to win quite comfortably and was rooting for Cotto right around round 7 when Clottey completely took over the fight.

alot of his punches were getting through its just on normal pace you cant see but on slow motion you can actually view the punches going in and compu box didn't score those

 

It's not the censors, but the Jerks at work...in a mixed sex work area....they have to notify the bosses...even though when I worked I had more than enough of it too keep me busy.

Them at work..... don't want to get fired for sexual hurrasment...being incompedent is one theing but being a sex freek at the work place costs real money....and once branded...no one want's a sex pest working for them that will cost big bucks and lawyers too.

So to keep ESB working, no naughty pictures....and dam....I missed it.

From Clottey 115-112 through Cotto 114-113 are acceptable scores.

Anything outside of that range and you need to have your head checked or put down the puerto rican flag.
