"He had Chagaev beat from round one, but he let it go on for nine rounds. He didn't knock the guy out, the guy retired in his corner and it's that sort of performance, which just shows why he hasn't got a very big fan base. For me, to be the number one in the world you've got to beat both the Klitschko brothers. His brother hasn't got any obligations and he's free in September so we'll see if that's a possibility. If it's Wladimir first or Vitali first it doesn't bother me. I've got to fight both of them anyway so I don't care which one comes first.

The fight makes sense once I'm healthy and I guarantee it'll be much more exciting than that snoozefest that he put us through last night. Everybody that fights him has no head movement and no clue, they don't move their feet and they're just sitting ducks. Anyone who watches me knows I don't go out there and get hit by silly shots I go out and throw angles. I throw punches in clusters and I've got a clue about how to fight. I was the undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world and I was that for a reason.
He's a lot bigger than me but he's a hell of a lot slower. He looks petrified whenever anyone considers throwing a punch at him - he runs across the ring, arms out, looking terrified. Nobody is really interested in seeing him fight they just want to see me fight, so me and him is the biggest fight out there. Lets make it happen."

Ha Ha he does talk some sense though. Whenever Chagaev got in close Wlad shat himself and clinched.

Vlad easily outboxed Chagaev. Chagaev had the balls to fight Vlad. Haye did not. Haye has still not provided proof of injury like he was supposed to. Vlad would have knocked Haye out easily. Chagaev would have stopped Haye. I hope Vitali goes ahead and knocks Haye out in Sept. Easy knockout for Vitali.

nothin wrong with avoiding being hit.

then again, some people avoid fighting in scheduled bouts.

Haye will be so relaxed in the ring that he will go to sleep against either Klitschko.

Haye does what he has to do to make sure he gets a fight with either of the Klitschkos, no surprises here.

I'd really like to see him fight either of them, especially Wlad.

Whichever one he fights, he loses and either goes back to CW where he can be dominant due to size or pathways a career of being beaten by the likes of Chagaev and Povetkin.

    Agreed.

Haye understands how to market himself as the "bad guy".

He's taking a page straight out of Apollo Creed's book.

That's my guess too (that he'll lose big no matter which of the two brothers he faces), but it surely would be exciting to watch, nonetheless.

My pick is that the jab alone will be enough to shake the confidence of Haye. He's never faced boxers with that stiff of a jab and like I said in another thread, you get a shorter boxer who throws wider angle punches against a tall boxer who throws straight - it's never pretty.

You're a tosser, is what I'm on about. You don't have a clue about boxing, if you did, you'd show some respect to certain fighters. Gain a clue or **** off.

Or what ? ****ing internet tough guys are pathetic. I have a lot of respect for Calzaghe at the end of the day he made it to the top of his trade (whether I agree with how he did it or not is a different matter) and I respect everyone who gets in the ring - AT ANY LEVEL. I do not have to like Calzaghe though or bow down to the belief he is great. IMO he is overated and me putting my opinion across on a boxing website for people to vent their opinions on is totally my choice. Your obviously a great fan of Calzaghe's and i'm obviously a great disbeliever. Whats wrong with that. And why are you chasing me onto a thread about David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko to vent your anger, worthless *****.
