Name one delusional fan who has said that Paul Williams is definitely gonna be a five weight division champ. No one. Does he have a chance? Yes. Will he do it definitely? No one can say.

He makes 147 easily. And anyone who tries to put him in the ring with Bute, Dawson, and all these others are just wanting him to outgrow the WW so their favorite boxer can claim he is the best.

Pretty much what it seems like .

Paul's a hell of a matchup for anyone at 147-154, and a good deal of 160 fighters. Let's see him actually get the big fights there before we start putting him up with quality fighters 2-3 divisions higher than his best. :thumbsup

 

Williams is the best from 147-154. No question in my mind. He'd beat anyone, more importantly - he'd fight anyone. I can see him beating most, if not all at 160 but 168 might be too far at this stage.
